(1) Our room. The bed was awesome... the only comfortable hotel bed I've ever experienced. I like the armoire, too, which of course is hiding the television. The bed on the right is lumpy because it's occupied... yes, folks, that's a pair of feet! Don't get all excited, now. :oP - 2 voters (5.00) BAR

(5) Here it is, folks: the stained glass dome over the concierge's desk. Breathtaking. Simply gorgeous. I stared at this forever, and someone who shall remain nameless got slightly annoyed waiting for me to get on with it. :o) The columns really frame it well, don't you think? Subtle, but screening out background busyness that would subtract from the impact. - 2 voters (4.50) BAR

Cascades Lobby. All of the lobbies seem to go on forever. I love the architectural aspects; the arches and columns, the way the huge panels of light are curved around the circular area of the concierge's desk, the final arch opening into the lush greenery of the Cascades.

This is one of the pictures in our room, which I shot just because the thing was so pretty. The quality's very good, if you take a closer look. The pictures, of course, were quite thoroughly affixed to the walls, so I was left with no recourse other than to take home a picture within a picture. Play within a play! Ha! Hamlet, eat your heart out. :oP
